Outreach and Enrollment Program
Community health centers play a vital role in helping North Carolinians understand their health insurance options and enroll in affordable coverage that best meets their needs. North Carolina FQHCs first received funding through the Bureau of Primary Health Care in July 2013 to support new Outreach and Enrollment Programs. Health Center Outreach and Enrollment Programs help community members and patients understand their options under the Affordable Care Act, enroll in coverage, and access care under their new plans.
NCCHCA’s Outreach and Enrollment program offers training and technical assistance to health center Outreach and Enrollment Programs, equipping them to best meet the needs of their communities and patients. NCCHCA hosts trainings and develops tools related to topics such as BPHC grant compliance, outreach strategies, federal policy, and health insurance literacy. If you have questions about the NCCHCA Outreach and Enrollment Program please contact NCCHCA’s Outreach and Enrollment Coordinator, Alice Pollard.
