ABOUT THE EAST COAST MIGRANT STREAM FORUM

Begun by the North Carolina Community Health Center Association in 1988, the East Coast Migrant Stream Forum is an annual conference that offers skills-based training and workforce development opportunities to professionals in the agricultural worker health field.

Through workshops and networking opportunities, attendees are exposed to the latest in workforce development skills training, clinical trends, agricultural worker-specific service delivery models, cutting-edge research, and legislative and funding initiatives.

Educational sessions are skills- and outcome-based, and the conference offers Continuing Medical Education and Continuing Nursing Education credits. Sessions are organized into five major disciplines:

-Clinical
-Outreach/Lay Health/Community Health Workers
-Policy
-Programmatic/Administrative
-Research

We would like to thank the Health Resources and Services Administration, Bureau of Primary Health Care, and the National Center for Farmworker Health for providing base funding and support for the East Coast Migrant Stream Forum.

REGISTRATION Full conference registration is available at the early bird rate of $325. Students, Agricultural Workers, and Lay Health Workers receive an early bird rate of $275. Rates go up by $50 after  September 8, 2017.
