DESCRIPTION:NCCHCA is excited to continue our webinar series of Behavioral Health Lunch & Learns. These webinars are an overview of various topics that impact our patient population from a behavioral health perspective. \nThe December Lunch and Learn will focus on depression among older adults. It will be held virtually on Thursday\, December 11th from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. \nThis webinar will include: \n\nHow depression can present differently among older adults compared to younger people.\nEffective screening tools.\nInterventions specific to this age group.\nAdditional information regarding older veterans as well as suicide risk among the elderly.\n\nThe intended audience is all health center staff (clinical & non-clinical roles) with an interest in learning more about the presented topic.
