This position supports the Mission, Values and Vision of Carolina Family Health Centers, Inc. (CFHC, Inc.). The Behavioral Health Manager will coordinate and provide individual, family, and group therapeutic and psychological support services to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses and mental health disorders. In addition, provide care and interventions designed to promote mental and physical health.
This position reports to the Chief Medical Officer.
Master’s degree in social work with a focus on Integrated Behavioral Health and two years experience as a supervisor or manager.
Must have one of the following – NC Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist.
Effective working knowledge of Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) concepts and evidence-based treatments for medical and mental health conditions.
Ability to make quick and accurate clinical assessments of mental and behavioral health conditions.
High level of comfort in working with primary care medical providers.
Good knowledge of psychopharmacology.
Two years minimum experience in staff supervision and program development and management.
NC Driver License.
Constant standing and walking, occasional bending, stooping, lifting, reaching forward and overhead.
May occasionally be required to lift patients, office equipment and paper, usually not exceeding fifty pounds of direct lift.
Frequent computer work required.
Must have transportation available during the workday for frequent local travel within and out of the community.
