CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT – HARVEST FAMILY HEALTH CENTER

Harvest Family Health Center is hiring for a Certified Nursing Assistant (Bilingual)!

In this position, you will assist the medical providers and nursing staff with day-to-day clinical activities to include but not limited to:
Escorting patients to the exam room and preparing the patient for examination by accurately taking and recording vital signs, obtaining and recording a brief history and directing the patient to prepare for the exam.
Maintaining exam rooms with the necessary supplies.
Organize, clean, and prepare exam rooms for patient care.
Proper documentation of patient information and following policy and procedure for patient confidentiality.
Assist patients in completing necessary forms or paperwork (registration forms, evaluation cards, past medical history, and adult comprehensive history and physician form).
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Basic Life Support certification.
Minimum one year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Completion of accredited program for nursing assistants and certification.
Must have knowledge in medical terminology and medical procedures.
Effective communication skills, written and verbally.
Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Majority of the time spent walking, bending, reaching and assisting with lifting and transferring of patients.
