Western NC Community Health Services (WNCCHS), a Federally Qualified Health Center, seeks a full-time Director of Pharmacy Services. The Director of Pharmacy Services directs and oversees all aspects of the pharmacy function in the designated location/s according to federal, state and 340B pharmacy regulations. Provides leadership focusing on contributing to the development and managing the implementation of effective initiatives and strategies to support and meet the objectives of the business. Takes the necessary actions to ensure the highest level of quality in provision of pharmacy services ensuring compliance with all pertinent company standard operation procedures and local, state, and federal regulations. Supports WNCCHS’s mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Applicant must have a minimum of seven years experience in a pharmacy setting with at least five years in a leadership or management role and possess a current NC Board of Pharmacy License that is free of restrictions to bill Medicaid/Medicare; be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs; possess excellent verbal and written communication skills an the ability to communicate effectively; interact in a friendly, professional manner with a wide range of staff; have expert knowledge of medical office operations; ability to plan, prioritize and complete delegated tasks with attention to detail; and ability to multitask and work well under pressure. Previous experience operating a 340B drug pricing program is preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates desired.
