Job Description:

PATIENT TRANSPORTATION – DRIVER

Carolina Family Health Centers is hiring for a patient transportation Driver.

This position supports the Mission, Values and Vision of Carolina Family Health Centers, Inc. (CFHC, Inc.). This position will provide transportation services, from any of our clinics, to patients with medical and dental visits. This position will be housed at Harvest Family Health Center in Elm City. Work schedule – Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
One year of similar experience.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
Effective communication and customer service skills.
Must demonstrate a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, obey laws and safety regulations to ensure patient’s safety.
Must have flexibility with schedule and the ability to work nights and weekends, occasionally.
Basic computer skills.
Bilingual in Spanish is required.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting for long periods of time, occasional bending, stooping, reaching forward and overhead. Some computer work may be required. Must be able to travel freely in the local area; between clinics, hospitals, health departments, etc.
