INTEGRATED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CLINICIAN – FREEDOM HILL COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER
Carolina Family Health Centers, Inc. is recruiting for an Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician to join the IBH Team at Freedom Hill Community Health Center in Tarboro, North Carolina.
This position supports the Mission, Vision, and Values of Carolina Family Health Centers, Inc. (CFHC, Inc.). The Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician, as part of the primary care treatment team, identifies primary care patient’s mental illness and/or substance use disorders. This position provides brief behavioral health intervention and counseling and when appropriate refers patients to mental health and/or substance use specialty care. Special focus on substance use disorders and community outreach. This position reports to the Integrated Behavioral Health Manager.
Master degree in social work, psychology, or related Behavioral Health field (from regionally accredited and approved institution)
Associate or fully licensed, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or a combination of a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
Minimum one year experience in primary care setting, preferred
Intermediate level computer skills
Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to demonstrate empathy
Effective communication skills
Valid North Carolina Driver License
Constant standing and walking, occasional bending, stooping, lifting, reaching forward and overhead.
May occasionally be required to lift patients, office equipment and paper, usually not exceeding fifty pounds of direct lift.
Frequent computer work required.
Must have transportation available during the workday for frequent local travel within and out of the community.
