NURSE PRACTITIONER / PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT – HARVEST FAMILY HEALTH CENTER

Harvest Family Health Center is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner!

This position is responsible for promoting health, treating disease and establishing and maintaining individual treatment plans for patients of the practice. This position reports to the Chief Medical Officer.

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited program with credentialing through the Physician Assistant Association or American Nurses Association.
Approval from the North Carolina Board of Medical Examiners to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Demonstrated competence to perform the duties of an advanced practice healthcare provider.
An active North Carolina License along with a DEA registration.
Bilingual in Spanish, is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
Frequent sitting, occasional bending, stooping, lifting, reaching forward and overhead.
Almost constant standing and walking.
May occasionally be required to lift patients, office equipment and paper, usually not exceeding fifty pounds of direct lift.
Frequent computer work required.
Must be able to travel freely in the local area.
