OUTREACH ENROLLMENT ASSOCIATE

Carolina Family Health Centers is hiring for an Outreach Enrollment Associate.

This position supports the Mission, Values and Vision of Carolina Family Health Centers, Inc. (CFHC, Inc.). This position will promote services of CFHC, Inc. with the goal of increasing services to high-risk, low income, and minority individuals. This position reports to the Outreach Supervisor. In addition, the position will also:
Network with local agencies and organizations, participate in health fairs and health promotion activities.
Provide education / information to prospective and current patients related to the Affordable Care Act.
Determine individual eligibility and offer appropriate insurance options as well as completing enrollment for individuals and families.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be bilingual in Spanish.
Familiar with the Latino community in Wilson, Nash, and Edgecombe counties of North Carolina.
Effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Must have a valid NC Driver License.
Work Schedule:
Monday & Tuesday, 2PM-10PM
Wednesday & Thursday, 1PM-10PM
Friday, 8AM-5PM
Occasional Saturday for special events
Physical Requirements:

Ability to operate a motor vehicle. Must be able to move about in the community, stand for long periods of time and make community presentations. Bending, squatting, and some lifting required. Ability to work outdoors in hot or cold, dusty environments. Ability to sit for periods of time to enter data or design educational materials. May need to stand for long periods of time.
