PHARMACY TECHNICIAN I (BILINGUAL PREFERRED) – WILSON COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER

Wilson Community Health Center’s pharmacy is hiring for a Pharmacy Technician.

The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for assisting the Pharmacist in various pharmacy services including patient eligibility as well as medication access, filling, and dispensing processes in accordance with applicable rules and laws set by governing bodies including the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred
Previous pharmacy work experience or Community Health Center experience preferred
National Pharmacy Technician certification required through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board, a plus
NC Driver License
Basic computer skills
Self-directed with good organization skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Team player
Ability to work independently

Physical Requirements:

Majority of the time spent standing, walking, reaching, minimal lifting, and frequent computer work.
Must be able to travel freely in the local area.
