REFERRALS ASSOCIATE

Wilson Community Health Center is hiring for a Referrals Associate to work with the Population Health team!

The Referrals Associate will arrange and track referrals requested by providers to outside entities and track designated diagnosis, as requested by providers. This position reports to the Medical Records and Referrals Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum one year of similar experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Electronic Health Records system experience is required.
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
Must be professional, detail oriented, and organized.
Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred, but not required.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent sitting, occasional bending, stooping, lifting, reaching forward and overhead.
May occasionally be required to lift office equipment and paper, usually not exceeding fifty pounds.
Frequent computer work.
