SUMMARY:NCCHCA: Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Blended Adult Learning Session  - Virtual
DESCRIPTION:Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an evidence-based training program that teaches participants how to identify\, understand\, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges. The course equips learners with practical skills to provide initial support and connect individuals to appropriate professional help. Topics include common mental health conditions\, crisis response (such as panic attacks\, suicidal thoughts\, or overdose)\, and strategies for reducing stigma and promoting early intervention. \nThis Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) learning session is designed specifically for care managers who play a key role in supporting patients with behavioral health needs. This includes care managers\, care coordinators\, population health staff\, and other team members involved in patient engagement and care navigation \nCHCs can join this scheduled class at a discounted rate.
