Overview:
Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Full-Time Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS/LCAS-A) to join our Behavioral Health Team in Spindale, NC.
A newly hired Therapist/Behavioral Health Service Provider can receive a sign on bonus of up to $5,000.00, depending on the service agreement chosen. Service contracts are for 1, 2, or 3 years.

What You’ll Do:
• Provide outpatient counseling services to patients with primary substance use disorder diagnosis
• Collaborate with behavioral health and medical providers within the agency as part of an integrated care model
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments for patients receiving medication assisted treatment through BRH
• Collect client level data using the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) tool
• Complete prompt comprehensive treatment planning and documentation requirements to meet compliance standards
• Provide walk-in crisis services during clinic operating hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm)
• Facilitate substance use recovery groups
• Address case management needs for patient caseload; including phone communication with community partners, referrals to outside agencies, internal referrals, or other care needs

What We’re Looking For:
• Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Required (fully or provisionally licensed or license eligible)
• Two years relevant counseling experience preferred
• Dual license preferred (LCSW/LCSW-A, LCMHC/LCMHC-A)
• Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Bilingual a plus
