CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT / LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE – HARVEST FAMILY HEALTH CENTER (Bilingual)

Harvest Family Health Center is hiring for a bilingual Certified Medical Assistant / Licensed Practical Nurse!

The Certified Medical Assistant / Licensed Practical Nurse will serve as patients’ first contact in the medical area, preparing patients for examination, assisting the medical provider with examinations, procedures, treatments and patient education, as necessary. This position reports to the Director of Clinical Services.

THIS POSITION OFFERS A 40-HOUR WORKWEEK, NO WEEKENDS, FULL BENEFITS PACKAGE, BI-ANNUAL BONUS, 11 PAID HOLIDAYS, BI-WEEKLY PAY!

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing as an LPN or graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants.
Current and unrestricted license to practice in North Carolina.
Bilingual in Spanish.
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to deal with the public in a courteous and respectful manner.
Must be detail oriented.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Frequent standing, walking, occasional bending, stooping, lifting, reaching forward and overhead.
May occasionally be required to lift patients, office equipment and paper, usually not exceeding fifty pounds of direct lift.
Frequent computer work required.
Must be able to travel freely in the local area.
