Job Description:

DENTAL ASSISTANT – CAROLINA FAMILY DENTAL CENTER

Carolina Family Dental Center is hiring a Dental Assistant! This position will provide quality of care and services to patients by assisting dentists and other staff in patient care, office, and laboratory duties.

Minimal Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Dental Assistant II/Minimum one year of dental assistant experience.
Successful completion of a radiation safety course and infectious control class, as required by the State of North Carolina.
Great communication and patient interaction skills.
Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
Basic computer skills.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
Constant standing and walking, occasional bending, stooping, lifting, reaching forward and overhead.
As a Medicaid/Medicare facility, Carolina Family Health Centers must comply with the Federal COVID-19 vaccination mandates. Therefore, as of January 27, 2022, new and existing employees to have received, at a minimum, the first dose of the primary series (Moderna or Pfizer) or a single dose COVID-19 vaccine (Janssen), have requested a lawful exemption, or been granted a lawful exemption.
