Bertie County Rural Health Association (BCRHA) a HRSA funded, Section 330(e) Community Health Center (CHC) since 1984, is seeking a BE/BC full-time Medical Doctor. BCRHA uses a fixed site model of delivering primary care services; providing family and adult medicine, counseling, in-house pharmacy assistance and laboratory services. The health center owns two clinical facilities in Bertie County. Student loan repayment available. HPSA score is 15.
The main site is a 6,580 square foot, 8 exam room facility built in 2004. It is located on the campus of Vidant Bertie Hospital in Windsor. The hospital campus is also home to the Bertie County Health Department and the Department of Social Services. The satellite clinic of BCRHA is 17 miles away in Lewiston, NC. The Lewiston clinic is a 5,400 square foot, 12 exam room facility.
Bertie County, NC is located in the northeastern part of the state, near the Outer Banks and the coast of NC. The target population for BCRHA is the medically needy of Bertie County, defined as those living at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.
Compensation packages includes competitive salary, CME allowance, disability, life, medical and dental insurance. BCRHA, is a National Health Service Corp (NHSC), Federal and State Loan Repayment assistance site.
Vacation
PTO (Paid Time Off) – Sick Leave, Vacation and Two (2) Personal Days per calendar year

Five days with $2,500.00 allowance per year.
