2020 Clinical Conference on Quality and Chronic Disease
April 9-10, 2020 | Durham, North Carolina
– Conference Cancelled –
Most of you are aware that Governor Roy Cooper has declared a state of emergency in NC due to the likely impact of COVID-19. As an Association dedicated to the support of our members in providing irreplaceable care to patients across the state, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Clinical Conference that was scheduled for next month. We are disappointed to forego this annual opportunity to connect, learn, and grow with you, our valued members and partners, but prudence demands that first and foremost we follow the best guidance available to us to support your ability to care for our communities! We hope to move this conference to a later date in 2020; be on the lookout for more information soon as we manage all the moving parts and continue to monitor and factor in the best information we have from national and local health authorities.
If you are currently a sponsor, we will be in touch with you about available options/arrangements.
Please be safe and thank you for all you do to care for our state.
The Clinical Conference on Quality & Chronic Disease is a professional training event providing continuing education opportunities. Nationally recognized health care experts share knowledge with safety-net providers on cutting-edge trends and quality improvement methods. This year’s Conference is an extended edition of training – two full days of rich sessions and keynotes will allow you to connect with health center professionals from across the state and learn about a variety of timely topics! We are excited to be partnering with North Carolina Oral Health Section to provide valuable sessions on oral health for CHC’s as well as other dental care providers that expand the scope and base of this conference.
Here is a sample of 2020 session topics:
Oral Health (Full Track!)
Behavioral Health (Full Track!)
Emergency Training for Dental Hygienists (Extended Session Option)
…and much more!
