NCCHCA’s roadmap is based on NC AHEC’s AMH Tier Support Tool, and includes extra steps, resources and details specific to health centers.
Medicaid Managed Care transformation efforts have restarted. Standard Plans are scheduled to go live July 1, 2021, while Behavioral Health I/DD Tailored Plans are scheduled to launch July 1, 2022. Until that time, NC Medicaid will continue to operate under the current fee-for-service model administered by the Department. You can read more here also: https://medicaid.ncdhhs.gov/transformation
The “Medicaid Transformation” plan will move most of NC Medicaid’s services for adults and children into a managed care model, such that:
