Information for Medicaid Beneficiaries: What is Telehealth?

Two important documents for FQHCs/CHCs regarding telehealth reimbursements follow.

This document outlines billing guidelines which allow Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and Rural Health Centers (RHC) to bill for diabetes self-management training (DSMT) and medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to Medicare beneficiaries via telehealth during the COVID public health emergency. It also outlines Medicaid reimbursement billing for DSMT provided via telehealth during the public health emergency.
